I have now received the endorsement of the Kansas Chapter of the Sierra Club. I am committed to doing all that I can to protect our environment for the future. If we are going to continue to enjoy clean air, clean water and usable soil, we need to be good stewards of the earth. We need to do all we can to reduce the effects of global warming, soil erosion, pollution, and needless destruction of our natural world. The use of renewable crops, materials and sources of energy are important not just to us but to our children’s children. My youngest grandson love the Flint Hills, I want to be sure it is there for his grandson.
